Position: Technical Lead
Sportcor combines the latest in advanced electronics and data analytics with traditional sports equipment. The movement data collected by our sensors in a Cricket Ball (or Baseball, Field Hockey and Lacrosse) deliver highly accurate information such as speed, distance, force and spin on to our platform that lets broadcasters, players, coaches and fans engage with the sport on a whole new level.

Oversees the technical aspects of a software team by making architectural and design decisions, guiding team members in technical matters, and supervising system modifications.
You will be required you to analyse ongoing projects and write progress reports on the same. Furthermore, you will be responsible for leading the team members and overseeing their performance. You will be conducting audits and system modifications along with the development team.

We are searching for a Tech Lead Manager who can demonstrate success delivering on a Roadmap that you will measure against. You should be able to work with the development team and inspire them to reach their goals and deliver the company’s product aspirations. You must be hungry to expand your industry knowledge and demonstrate and bring to the
company an ability to quickly identify problems and be accountable and trustworthy.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing daily technical operations
Assisting in training new employees and reviewing the high performing team
Coordinating with the software development team in addressing technical debt
Analysing project briefs, requirements and deliverables
Preparing and presenting progress reports
Developing and assigning work schedules/tasks
Liaising with the engineering team for project completion
Reviewing ongoing operations and rectifying any issues
Coordinating with the Engineering Manager and the Software Engineer
Scheduling training sessions for new employees and the technical staff
Notifying any technical problems to the engineer responsible
Communicating with the clients to ascertain their needs.
Checking and updating systems and software on a regular basis
Conducting periodic security checks/audits
Using good quality code to avoid monetary damage.
Understanding project requirements and developing detailed structure
Required skills and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or any related field
5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer or similar role
A certification in Project Management Professional is desirable.
Excellent technical expertise
Strong analytical and debugging skills.
Strong communication skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Good leadership skills
Knowledge of latest technologies and industry trends
Excellent knowledge of programming languages like PHP, Java and Python
Ability to make rational decisions.
Highly motivated and willing to learn new technologies.
Good organisational skills
Knowledge of code versioning tools and databases
Awareness about the best industry practices
Highly accurate and logical
