You will have responsibility for product planning, delivery and marketing throughout the product lifecycle. You will develop a vision and roadmap for the product based on input from internal stakeholders, customers, market research and your own industry insight.
We are searching for an innovative Product Manager who can demonstrate success at creating and delivering on a Roadmap that you will develop in collaboration with the Senior Management team whilst taking insight from Sales, Clients, our development team and your own skills, industry knowledge and experience. You should be able to work with the development team and inspire them to reach their goals and deliver the company’s product aspirations.
You must have a strong interest and knowledge of Cricket and be hungry to expand your industry knowledge. You can demonstrate and bring to the company an ability to quickly identify problems and be accountable and trustworthy.
Objectives of this role:
Drive the product- and business-planning processes for cross-functional teams.
Work with customers, suppliers and Senior management to understand the unique positioning of our products and services and determine potential partnerships for growth.
Be aware of potential competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation.
Analyse product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re met
Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments and with suppliers.
Appraise new product and components and strategize appropriately.
Drive the execution of all processes in the product and services lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams.
Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI!
Analyse market data to develop sales strategies and define product objectives for effective marketing communications.
Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organisation.
Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Sportcor across primary market segments and geographies.
Required skills and qualifications:
Strong experience in a dynamic product and services management role.
Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
High effectiveness in managing cross functional teams.
Experience in delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Be able to commercialise the opportunity through working with Senior Management and Sales.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in product design or engineering.
Previous experience in Product and services development at a senior level.
Deep understanding of the sport of Cricket, globally.
